Why I Love Fascia Work
For years, I dealt with autoimmune challenges, pain, stiffness, and a body that just didn't feel like it was working the way it should. I wanted to stay active, but some days even simple things felt harder than they should. I kept searching for answers because I knew there had to be more than just managing symptoms.
One of the biggest things that changed my life was learning about fascia.
Most people have never heard of fascia, yet it affects how we move, how we feel, and how our bodies respond to stress. When fascia becomes tight, stuck, or dehydrated, the body can start compensating. We may notice stiffness, aches, limited mobility, or pain that never seems to fully go away.
As a Fascial Maneuver Coach, I help people learn simple movements and techniques that help release tension and get the body moving more freely again. What I love most is that these are tools people can use on their own. They don't have to wait until their next appointment to feel better.
I've seen people walk into class feeling stiff and restricted, then leave moving easier and standing taller. I've watched clients discover that the shoulder, hip, or back pain they've been fighting for years wasn't always coming from where they thought.
My own experience is what drives me. Through fascia work, movement, nutrition, and supporting my body's healing process, I was able to get out of chronic pain and regain the mobility I thought I had lost. Today, at 57, I'm hiking, rappelling, teaching workshops, and doing things I love. Honestly, I feel better now than I did in my 40s.
That's why I'm so passionate about sharing this work. I want people to know that getting older doesn't have to mean giving up what you love. Our bodies are amazing when we give them the right support.
My goal is simple: help you move better, feel better, and stay active doing the things you love for as long as possible. And hopefully help you get there a whole lot faster than it took me.
